Some National/Federal organizations that I would be interest in joining are:NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER EDUCATORS (NAECTE),  THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE EDUCATORS OF YOUNG CHILDREN (NAEYC)  and National association for the education for the education of homeless children and youth (Naehcy) .  I would also be interested in joining into to the Zero to Three community.
I am interested in joining NAECTE because it is an organization composed of early childhood educators from around the world. This organization provides a lot of information on bettering yourself as ECE professional. It focuses on quality teacher education. NAEYC is an organization that takes my interest the most because when I own my own center I would like to be accredited by them. They promote high quality education for young children. They are a great resources for finding out the latest topic in the early childhood field. They give opportunities for you to come together and collaborate with early childhood educators from all over the world and share information about the ECE field. I like the fact that they look at the bond/relationship of the family and the child. NAEHCY is an organization that I am interested because they are helping children receive a quality education that are homeless. One thing that I want to do is serve children that are underprivileged, low income and or homeless. They also have agents in school assisting children in this situation stay in school. Becoming apart of the Zero to three community will allow me to stay up to date with changing policies in the filed. I'm interested because this organization focuses on teaching us how to properly nurture early development.

The Journal Editor position sounds alluring and interesting. Many of these jobs require a number of years of experience with an abundance of diverse skills, which are great as long term goals and allow us to aim towards something fixed.

It always amazes me how much other jobs make so much more money than educators. The journal job looked interesting and hard. Being accredited is important and it's what makes you stand out among others.
